Work description-Company's has various tools that implement stages of the Quality Management System (QMS) process to fulfill compliance needs. These tools are generally written in Python integrate with various backends (e.g. Helix ALM from Perforce, some Google-internal APIs).
Needs:
- Add or update features to support users at Company.
- Build new frontends to make tools more user-friendly.
- Maintain and release these tools on a regular, frequent schedule.
Skills Needed-
Domain:
- Familiarity with APIs and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with Python development.
- [nice to have] Familiarity with REST APIs as well as gRPC (or Google-internal protocol buffers-based APIs).
- [nice to have] Ability to create and deploy web frontends to augment command-line interfaces.
Tech stack:
- Python
- Google-internal backends for release management (Rapid) and test reporting (Sponge)
